Clubhouse Landscape Renovation – Phase 2

This week our staff began the second phase of the Master Landscape Plan for the clubhouse. Earlier this year Phase 1 was completed on the left side of the building and Phase 2 will include the right side of the building with the relocation of the bag drop area.

Phase 2 will include a very similar design as Phase 1. Most of the same plant materials will be utilized such as Nellie R. Stevens Hollies, Lime Light Hydrangea, Schipp Laurels, Carpet Roses, Winter Green Boxwoods and annuals. Currently all the existing plant material has been removed and the land has been shaped for plants. Included in the renovation will be a dry creek bed for the excessive water shed from the clubhouse roof and prevent the clubhouse from flooding anymore. All the existing drainage spouts from the roof have been tied together into an exit drain line to a near by catch basin.

Also in this renovation we will be relocating the bag drop area to a more friendly location that allows members or guests to drop their bags close to the Golf Shop versus walking around the building.

Recent storms this week will be postponing the progress until this area can dry and work can resume. The last remaining parts of the project include redesigning and installing a new irrigation system, plant/annual installation, bag drop station, and mulch.

Feel free to stop by the front door of the clubhouse to see a rendering of the expected results.

    Well Done, Steffie.

Looking good. Appreciate the updates. Hope down the road consideration will be given to replacing the trees along the entrance. Would certainly open the clubhouse to the entrance and road.
