Sunrise Opening Day
Coming up on Monday May 16th we will be applying the course’s first shot of fertilizer of the year. This fertilizer is a specialty blend made specifically for Bluegrass based on our needs. After the fertilizer is on the ground we will receive approximately 4 months of 3 levels of feeding until late August/early September when we will apply our last fertilization for the year. The Bluegrass fertilizer is made up of 65% slow release fertilizer (to carry us to fall), 25% medium release fertilizer (provide quick growth through June/July) and 10% quick release fertilizer (immediate growth). This fertilizer is a great tool to produce healthy turf.
