The second application of topdressing on the collars has been completed. In addition to the collars, all the approaches were aerified and topdressed as well. Aerifing the the approaches allows us to incorporate topdressing sand in the open holes to dilute organic matter from the zoysia and promote a harder, smoother surface to play through. Over time this will provide a playing surface that will prevent balls from plugging when hitting an approach shot into the green.
